A NWS Storm Survey found a Macro-burst occurred in Tucker county near Pleasant Run. Winds were estimated to be from 105 to 110 MPH, with a path length of 0.75 miles, and a width of 225 yards. Substantial damage to hardwood trees and power lines was observed, with numerous trees snapped and uprooted, and large power lines taken down.
State official reported of urban-type flooding in Parsons. Small streams and culverts overflowing and effecting vegetation. Some roads closed including Route 219 at the Tucker/Randolph county line. Some homes and local businesses effected.
