A NWS Storm Survey found a Macro-burst occurred in Tucker county near Pleasant Run. Winds were estimated to be from 105 to 110 MPH, with a path length of 0.75 miles, and a width of 225 yards. Substantial damage to hardwood trees and power lines was observed, with numerous trees snapped and uprooted, and large power lines taken down.
