An empty detached semi trailer overturned, the roof was peeled off of an outbuilding causing a partial collapse, and numerous trees blew down in the vicinity of VA-257 Ottobine Road, VA-737 Cannery Woods Drive, and VA-738 Dry River Road.
A television station just west of the city of Harrisonburg on Route 33 reported 60 mph winds and a loss of power. Trees were blown down along Route 33 and into the city of Harrisonburg. A couple of cars received damage when trees fell on top of them. Hail of unknown size was also reported in Harrisonburg.
Trees blew down onto power lines near the intersection of VA-619 Phillips Store Road/Wampler Road and VA-259 Maryland Road. Trees and wires blew down near the intersection of VA-259 Maryland Road and VA-873 Wentworth Drive. A piece of tin roof was ripped off a barn on VA-619 Wampler Road.
