Five inches of rain fell in Brady with heavier rains in southwest McCulloch County. There was widespread street and road flooding throughout the county and Highway 71 was closed. The storms also caused numerous power outages.
National Weather Service storm survey team found evidence of damage confirming an EFO tornado in Brady. Several trees lost limbs. One tree was uprooted, while another tree fell on a home. Some roof damage was also observed.
The emergencey management official reported several roads around Brady were closed due to high water up to two feet. He also reported that many small streams were over their banks and several roads across the eastern and central portions of the county were closed because of high water caused by runoff from heavy rain that fell overnight.
