A swollen small stream caused a bridge to collapse along road 852. Road 852 at sector Los Matojos, Barrio Dos Bocas, a section of the road collapsed. Water contention wall at sector Ruiz, along road 852 was reported downed.
Urban flooding was reported in Carolina. Streets were reported flooded in Sabana Gardens, Villa Fontana, Villa Carolina, Jardines de Borinquen, Jardines de County Club, Fidalgo Diaz Avenue, Central Boulevard, Calderon, Pontezuela and Roberto Clemente. Moderate to heavy showers affected the San Juan Metropolitan area causing urban flooding along low lying and poorly drained areas.
A home was reported flooded in the San Francisco urbanization in Rio Piedras. Flooding was also reported in Cupey. Small stream Josefina was reported out of its banks, flooding the Diego Avenue in Puerto Nuevo. River Rio Piedras was reported 2 feet below flood stage.
