Isolated severe thunderstorms developed in extreme northeast Oklahoma during the late afternoon of April 24th. Strong thunderstorm winds uprooted trees and caused a considerable amount of minor damage in Vinita. Nickel size hail fell 7 miles west of Vinita, and dime size hail fell at Wyandotte.
Severe thunderstorms developed in extreme northeast Oklahoma during the evening of March 6th and produced large hail and one small tornado. The tornado touched down briefly one mile west southwest of Lenapah at 2140 CST. Trees and fences were downed by this F-0 tornado, but no other damage occurred as a result of the tornado. Golf ball-size hail fell at Lenapah, and dime-size hail fell at Wann, Welch, Narcissa, and five miles east of Miami.
Isolated severe thunderstorms developed in northeast Oklahoma during the late afternoon of July 24th. The storms produced 2 small, brief F-0 tornadoes in Craig County. The first tornado touched down briefly at 1546CST 15 miles west northwest of Vinita, and the second tornado touched down briefly at 1550CST 10 miles northwest of White Oak. Nickel-size hail fell 4 miles northwest of White Oak, and dime-size hail fell 6 miles northeast of Wyandotte.
