Emergency management officials reported that damage was observed along a roughly half mile long path. The damage started near the intersection of county highway C-105 and U.S. 24. Two mobile homes that were attached together, were flipped over, destroying it. As the wind continued east a pole barn next to the mobile home was destroyed. Along U.S. 24, several trees were uprooted in two separate residences. Two homes suffered roof damage as well. The damage ended just across the Maumee River where several large broken tree limbs were found along the river bank. The combined damage is estimated at $100,000.
Numeorus trees were blown down, including several two foot diameter oak trees and a 25 foot pine tree. Structure damage was also reported in Antwerp as well as northeast of Paulding. Damage is estimated around $100,000. Surveys from local emergency and NWS officials found evidence of the formation of gustnadoes where concentrated areas of damage were observed.
Emergency management officials reported that one trailer home was blown off its slab and wrapped around a pole, with another trailer home blown away. Other reports of roof damage were received in the county but no specific locations were given. Damage is estimated at $40,000 for the cost of the trailers.
