A strong microburst caused numerous trees and power lines to get blown down in a 3 mile radius of the intersection of Highway 528 and county road 23. Additionally, a house nearby sustained roof damage and a hay barn was destroyed.
Damaging winds from an outflow boundary blew trees down onto power lines just east of Bay Springs, as well as between Bay Springs and Louin. Trees were blown down across the the road along Highway 531 near Highway 18. A canopy was blown off a chicken plant loading dock just north of Stringer.
The Post Office in Stringer received major roof damage. At least 12 homes had some roof damage. Five poultry houses had major damage. Seventeen barns and sheds had varying degrees of damage. Two mobile homes received minor damage. Many downed trees were reported.
