One foot of water was reported covering numerous roads near St. Joseph Medical Center and 18 inches of standing water was reported under a viaduct near Briggs and Route 30. Rainfall reports included 3.50 inches near Infantry Drive and Black Roads, 1.91 inches near Theodore and Larkin and 1.75 inches at the Joliet Lock and Dam.
Flooding was reported on rural roads outside of Peotone. Standing water of 8 to 10 inches was reported on Joliet Road one half mile east of Interstate 57. Standing water of 4 to 5 inches was reported on north Peotone Road one quarter mile west of Harlem.
Heavy rain caused flooding across parts of northern Will County late in the evening of February 26th. Flooding continued through February 28th, especially along creeks, streams and rivers. Weber Road between Royce and Boughton Roads was closed due to flooding from the East Branch of the Dupage River.
