SKYWARN spotters and the public reported golf ball-size hail in Colorado City. The hail covered the ground and caused minor damage to crops and vehicles. As the storm moved northeast, quarter-size hail fell north of Loraine, as reported by the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office.
A thunderstorm moved across Mitchell County and produced quarter sized hail seven miles south southeast of Colorado City. There was light impact denting on steel roofing but no broken windows. The cost of damage is a very rough estimate.
