In addition to the wind damage, a severe thunderstorm dropped golf ball size hail in Whitehall Township. Quarter size hail also fell in the Fullerton section of the township. Siding of homes was dented by the large hail.
Ping pong to golf ball size hail fell in Upper Macungie and Lower Macungie Townships and Macungie Borough. The largest hail was reported in the Ancient Oaks area of Lower Macungie Township and it also covered the ground. Nickel size hail also covered the ground of Macungie Borough.
