Thunderstorm winds estimated between 65 and 75 mph produced significant straight line wind damage to a barn and pump house near Kerrsville in West Pennsboro Township. The damage occurred at the intersection of Kerrsville and Crossroad School Roads.
Thunderstorm winds estimated near 60 mph downed trees, wires and power poles in South Middlesex Township near Old Stonehouse/Hickory Road and Ridge Drive. Severe winds also caused minor to moderate damage to 3-4 homes in the same area.
Thunderstorms produced a downburst with winds estimated around 60 mph near Mechanicsburg in Monroe Township. Sporadic tree damage was noted on Williams Grove Road at the West Shore Evangelical Free Church. Tree damage was also noted on Eppley Road between Stoner Road and Fisher Road…extending southward into the Monroe Acres development along Fairway Drive and points east. Several utility poles (3) were also caused to lean from the wind along Williams Grove Road. The epicenter of the downburst seemed to be located near the intersection of Widders Drive and Fairway Drive.
