A thunderstorm caused a damage path 8 to 10 miles wide from east of Emerson to near Walthill. Golf ball-size hail was up to 12 inches deep in some areas. Windows were broken, roof were damaged, large trees were snapped off, and livestock was injured. Serious damage occurred near Walthill.
