Thunderstorm wind gusts estimated at 70 mph downed trees in Beemer, some of which fell on cars and did building damage. A metal pole was also snapped off. The winds knocked the power out for at least 75 percent of the people in town. The high winds also did areas of tree damage toward the West Point area, with one farmstead reporting that 8 or 9 trees were downed.
Thunderstorm wind gusts estimated at between 70 and 75 mph downed trees and power lines in numerous locations across the county. West Point was especially hard hit with numerous trees downed causing damage to fences, vehicles and some buildings in town.
Thunderstorm wind gusts estimated at 60 to 70 mph swept through the Wisner, Beemer and West Point area. The winds downed a few trees and scattered large branches which caused some car, fence and home damage. Crops were also flattened west of Wisner.
