What the reports say

Two to five inches of rain fell over much of northern Camden County. The community of Linn Creek appeared to have been impacted the greatest. Linn Creek flooded the community, causing damage to 20 homes and businesses. The community of Sunrise Beach also experienced significant flash flooding.
The low water crossing on Jacks Burch Drive where it crosses Macks Creek flooded. The road surface south of the crossing washed out making the bridge impassable. A structure upstream that straddled the creek was damaged and washed downstream. At least two vehicles were washed downstream from the flood waters. A home 50 yards off the creek had 2 feet of water in the home and a garage. The library in Macks Creek had water in the basement as well.
Widespread road damage occurred across Camden County due to excessive rainfall. One measurement had six and a half inches of rain falling in three hours. Several roads had road surfaces washed out and damage occurred to low water crossings.
