A hail swath from quarters to golf balls in size fell along a path from Decaturville to Montreal where a left moving supercell moved to the northeast and weakened before leaving the county. Along the storms path, numerous homes, vehicles, businesses, equipment, crops, livestock and other structures were damaged.
Large hail was reported at the Tan Tara Resort. Strong thunderstorm winds also tore loose two gas pumps at the Blue Harbor Marina spilling gas into the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks. Wind gusts also ripped part of a roof off a house.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident near Tunnel Dam Road and Highway D. The trooper reported hail up to quarter size covered the ground and road which caused slick driving condition. One inch hail covered the ground.
