A National Weather Service storm survey revealed that a downburst occurred in a rural area northwest of Hurricane Deck. The damage extended to the southeast for approximately three miles, damaging an airplane, and causing significant tree damage.
Eighty to ninety mph wind gusts from a microburst caused major damage near Grand Glaze Bridge on Lake of the Ozarks. Approximately 30 boat docks were damaged and overturned while numerous trees were knocked over in the surrounding area. Trees were also downed in Osage Beach, causing $20,000 in damage to homes.
Large hail was reported at the Tan Tara Resort. Strong thunderstorm winds also tore loose two gas pumps at the Blue Harbor Marina spilling gas into the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks. Wind gusts also ripped part of a roof off a house.
