Numerous trees and powerlines were downed in the Cotton Valley, Louisiana community.|Additional damage caused by the thunderstorm winds were around Hwy. 2, Hwy. 157 and 3008. Along Country Club Drive and its adjoining streets and neighborhoods, downed trees were abundant blocking roadways and damaging structures and vehicles. One tree crashed into a gas regulator causing natural gas to spew into the air. A home was damaged on Pecanview.
Thunderstorm wind gusts caused damage to three buildings, with two of the buildings suffering significant roof damage. Windows were also blown out of several commercial buildings, a number of trees were toppled by the high wind.
Trees were reported down near Pilgrim Rest at Camp Zion, Horseshoe Road and Buchanan Street. Significant tree damage was also reported along with some roof damage and light pole damage in the city park across from the Webster Parish Library. A car was also damaged by the debris and a trampoline was blown from a persons back yard.
