Isolated severe thunderstorms developed in Benton County of extreme northwest Arkansas during the late afternoon and early evening of July 14th and produced quarter size hail at Monte Ne and dime size hail at Cave Springs.
Severe thunderstorms moved from southeast Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas during the evening of January 12th. Large hail accompanied the storms with quarter-size hail which covered the ground eight miles northeast of Lavaca. Dime-size hail fell at several other locations in northwest Arkansas.
