A fallen power pole and tree branches have been reported by the 911 Call Center via email, blocking the roadway on PR-5 in Bayamon. The obstruction is located just before the exit toward Avenida Los Millones. This incident occurred as the outer bands of Hurricane Erin moved onshore.
Strong Winds related to a strong thunderstorm resulted in damage to a house in which part of the roof made of zinc was gone. In addition, a tree fell. This occurred along Road Camino Valentin, Barrio Buena Vista, Sector Nueve.
Bayam��n emergency managers reported that Calle 8 (8th Street) in Santa Rosa is flooded due to heavy rains and poor drainage. No vehicles or homes were affected, only the water on the roadway. This road is over a tributary to Rio Hondo (River).
