A severe thunderstorm moved eastward across northern Johnson County and brought high wind gusts. Gusts as high as 73 mph occurred along Interstate 90 to the southeast of Buffalo. A 64 mph wind gust was measured at the Johnson County Airport near Buffalo.
A line of thunderstorms brought severe thunderstorm winds to much of Johnson County. Some of the more notable wind gusts included 76 mph along Interstate 25 in southern Johnson County and 75 mph in northern Johnson County along Interstate 90.
