Numerous trees and large branches were blown down. Electricity was lost to around 13,000 customers. Twelve homes, including mobile homes, were destroyed, 31 had major damage, and 48 others had minor damage. The public infrastructure damage assessment was around $500,000.
Many trees were snapped and uprooted. Four wooden electrical transmission line poles were snapped. A single family residence received roof damage consisting of shingle removal and tree debris impaled into the roofing deck. Several small yard items were blown around, including a dog kennel and a kayak. All the damage and debris exhibited a slightly divergent pattern, consistent with a microburst.
Scattered locations saw trees and large branches blown down across roads, including the Fenwick vicinity. The most damage was noted along Route 41 between Summersville and Persinger. Several large trees were knocked down. A huge billboard was blown over onto a house just north of Summersville on Route 19.
