Emergency Management reported flooding when Warm Springs Run topped its banks and flooded downtown Berkeley Springs. Three mobile homes were flooded. The Johnson's Mill Road and Speilman Road at Slippery Creek were closed due to flooding.
The water level along the Cacapon River at Great Cacapon surpassed flood stage of 9 feet. The water crested at 9.33 feet on September 10th at 10:00 AM EST. Rock Ford Road begins to flood in multiple locations, including flowing completely over the low water bridge. Constant Run Road also begins to flood.
Widespread flooding throughout the county, with approximately 30 roads closed due to flooding of creeks and streams. Route 9 was closed between Paw Paw and Great Cacapon due to being flooded in multiple locations along that 20 mile stretch.
