Numerous trees and large branches were blown down in the county. Over 11,000 customers lost electricity. One home was destroyed, 4 had major damage, and 14 other dwellings sustained minor damage. The public infrastructure damage assessment was around $147,000.
A microburst about 100 yards wide and over a mile long occurred along Lick Creek west of Danville. Several locations had trees blown down with minor damage to a few structures. Peak wind gusts were estimated near 80 mph.
In Madison, trees fell onto two homes, but caused no damage to either structure. One lane of Route 85 was blocked due to a downed tree. The entrance to Holly Hills was blocked by a large limb that was knocked off of a nearby tree. Several side streets in the town observed tree limb damage.
