What the reports say

Numerous streets flooded and closed in Woodstock including Main Street and multiple sections on Route 11. There was a car stalled out in water near the intersection of Main Street and Indian Springs Road. There was water in multiple businesses in Woodstock.
The gauge at New Market along the Smith Creek rose above flood stage of 8 feet, cresting at 9.45 feet at 8 PM EST. The water level fell below flood stage at 10:23 PM EST on the 24th. Mount Airy Lane was flooded and Route 826 was also flooded. Agricultural flooding also took place near Smith Creek.
Many roads were closed in Woodstock as a result of high water or debris from flash flooding. At least 6 basements were flooded and had to be pumped. IFLOWS gauge at Burnshire Dam reported 5.24 inches of rain in 3 hour period.
