Winds gusts up to 60 mph (52 knots) downed several trees throughout the City of Richmond. Trees were blocking the right lane of Chippenham Parkway East and additional trees were downed on Chippenham near Forest Hill Avenue. A tree also fell on a four-year-old boy and his father in Maymont park, killing the boy and seriously injuring the father.
