Thunderstorm winds blew hundreds of trees down across the county. Many of these trees brought down power lines as they fell. One tree fell on a house in Patrick Springs. Another tree fell on a cabin. Damage values are estimated.
Thunderstorm winds blew multiple trees down across the southern sections of the community of Stuart, VA and also, tops of trees were blown off and one tree was uprooted three miles west-southwest of Critz, VA. Damage values were estimated.
The Patrick County 911 Center reported that a number of trees were down on Moorefield Store Road near Stuart or about five miles northwest of Sandy Ridge. The Virginia Department of Transportation reported that another tree was down on Nettles Ridge Loop just south of Critz.
