What the reports say
Written by National Weather Service staff at the time of the event · public domain
State officials reported numerous trees and power lines down throughout the county with widespread damage. The most significant damage occurred in the Windy Hill Mobile Home Park where several mobile homes were severely damaged. Additional structure damage from falling trees was reported in Fords Colony on Southern Hill Drive, First Colony, and in the Kingsmill Subdivision.
