Nearly a dozen trees and large branches were blown down in Falls Church, primarily north of VA-7 Broad Street. A 4-foot diameter oak tree was uprooted in a yard near the intersection of North Four Mile Run Drive and 26th Street North adjacent to the Washington and Old Dominion Trail. A tree blew down onto wires and a car near the intersection of North Roosevelt Street and North Tuckahoe Street, briefly trapping the occupant who was uninjured.
A wind gust of 51 knots (59 MPH) was measured by a personal weather station in the City of Falls Church. Several trees, branches and wires blew down in the City of Falls Church, mainly near and along VA-7 West Broad Street between the Fairfax County line and North/South West Street.
Several trees and large branches blew down in Falls Church. A tree blew down near the intersection of Linden Lane and VA-337 Hillwood Avenue. The tops of four healthy oak trees one to two feet in diameter snapped off near Four Mile Run in Isaac Crossman Park.
