The stream gage on the Mechums River in White Hall, VA. rose above flood stage during the specified time, reaching a max flood stage of 12.17 feet at 6:30 PM EST. At 11 feet, water reaches the yard of a home on Free Union Road.
The North Fork of the Rivanna River at Earlysville was in Minor Flood Stage during he indicated time period, reaching a peak level of 17.49 feet at 3:15 AM on November 12th. Overbank flooding occurred near Earlysville. Water approached Advance Mills Road. Backwater flooding also affected a low spot on Frays Mill Road.
Howardsville Turnpike (VA-602) was closed due to flooding between Rockfish Crossing (VA-722) and Rockfish River Road (VA-617). Mount Alto Road was closed due to flooding between James River Road (VA-626) and Wolf Mountain Lane (VA-602).
