Carport roof blown off of a home. Roof partially caved in and windown blown out of another home. A power pole was blown down. A shed was blown into a nearby house and street. Winds of 70 mph were estimated by a NWS storm survey team.
Several trees were reported blown down near Russel and Haynes roads in the City. After the first report of damage three other reported of trees damage were made from within the City. The Sheriff's Office reported power lines down on the Upper Mission Valley road.
NWS storm survey determined straight-line winds around 60 mph struck a small community in rural eastern Victoria County 10 to 15 miles south of Inez. One barn was destroyed and part of the roof was removed from an adjacent barn. Local corn crops were damaged also.
