Severe thunderstorm winds tore the roofs off of several businesses and numerous other structures and residences suffered lesser damage. Emergency management officials reported 22 businesses and 22 homes sustained damage.
Broadcast media reported wind damage in Madisonville, including Tractor Supply Company and areas along FM 1452 east. A barn was destroyed and several buildings were damaged. Peak wind speeds were estimated at 94 mph based on a small barn with a degree of damage of 8.
