A supercell moved across Hartley County during the evening hours of the 9th. As the storm moved between the towns of Dalhart and Hartley (Hartley County), the County Emergency Manager reported baseball size hail (2.75 inches) on U.S. Highway 87 six miles north-northwest of Hartley. After producing this hail, the supercell continued to moved eastward across the county.
A supercell moved across Hartley County during the evening hours of the 9th. As the storm moved south of Dalhart (Hartley County), local law enforcement reported golf ball size hail (1.75 inches) eight miles southwest of Dalhart (Hartley County). After producing this hail, the supercell continued to moved eastward across the county.
