Straight-line winds knocked down numerous trees and power lines south of Dresden. Trees fell on a total of seven mobile homes resulting in significant damage. A fatality occurred in one of the mobile homes. A metal building was also damaged near Dresden.
Straight line winds knocked down trees and power lines between Sharon, Martin, Dresden and Mount Pelia. At least 100 power poles were snapped. Several homes received damage from fallen trees. One injury occurred as a result. In addition, A tree fell on a vehicle in transit injuring the driver. A couple of sheds were destroyed.
Straight line winds caused widespread damage across Weakley County. Five buildings were destroyed. Four homes suffered major damage. Three homes, two mobile homes and one business suffered minor damage. There were also numerous trees and power lines knocked down.
