Straight line winds produced widespread damage across Carroll County between McLemoresville and Vale. Numerous trees and power lines were knocked down. Several homes sustained damage from fallen trees. One home between Huntingdon and McLemoresville was destroyed.
Straight line winds caused widespread damage across parts of Carroll County including Huntingdon. Two mobile homes, two businesses and two farm buildings were destroyed. Twenty-eight homes and one public building suffered minor or major damage. Many trees were knocked down as well.
Numerous trees and several structures received damage from straight-line winds estimated as high as 85 mph. This damage began just southwest of Huntingdon with additional, more widespread damage in the communities of Hollow Rock and Bruceton.
