Quarter to golfball sized hail damaged several windshields, dented cars and smashed windows in the area surrounding the Pawtucket YMCA. In addition, the amount of hail piled up on the roof of a bank, caused a portion of the roof to collapse. Hail had to be shoveled off the remaining portion of the roof.
