A severe thunderstorms affected the eastern and interior sections of Puerto Rico with heavy rains, strong gusty winds and 0.75- inch-diameter hail. The strong winds tore the roof off of 10 homes in Gurabo and a school in Caguas.
Emergency management officials reported a landslide impacting a residential property in Barrio Ant��n Ruiz on Calle Tulip��n, Humacao. The landslide affected the patio, damaged the back wall, and obstructed the parkway of the house.
Several reports confirmed that PR-3 next to the Palma Real Shopping Center was impassable due to flooding, leaving transiting automobiles stuck on the road. Flooding was also reported within the parking of the Shopping Center. Images reveal water above most of the wheel on various cars.
