What the reports say

A local television meteorologist reported that three persons were swept away by a swollen small stream in the Pedernales sector of Cabo Rojo. Two were rescued, but a flood death ocurred when the car stalled crossing the flooded bridge over small stream Los Sosas on highway 103.
The municipal government's official social media page reported that a large tree fell on Calle Riviera in the Parqueas Marias sector, causing damage to vehicles and blocking the roadway. The fallen tree also brought down power lines.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms developed during the early afternoon across the central and interior part of the island causing minor street flooding in Lajas as the moved southwest. The heavy downpours lasted about 15 minutes.
