Emergency management reported several roads closed due to flooding in Westmoreland county including Westinghouse Road, Route 217 in Derry Township, and Pizza Barn Road, where there was a water rescue of two people. In addition, basement flooding was reported.
Emergency manager reported flooding across Latrobe and Derry in Westmoreland county. The area around Kelly Village trailer park was flooded including Raymond Ave, Route 982 and Blaney Drive. Three feet of water was reported to have covered Raymond Drive and the entrance to the trailer park was blocked by trees and debris. Three feet of water also covered Route 30 at the Latrobe 30 Plaza.
Emergency management reported that Loyalhanna creek was rising rapidly and that it would be affecting Route 982 near Latrobe. In addition, Fry Hollow Road was closed between Trout Road and 819 due to flooding. Police also reported flooded roadways in the Ligonier area including route 381, Peoples Road, and Two Mile Run Road.
