A squall line of severe showers and thunderstorms caused wind damage in many municipalities in Bucks County. A few trees fell onto the roofs of homes. A downed tree in Quakertown damaged the gutters of one church. A Jeep was crushed by a downed tree in Bristol Township, one of a few vehicles damaged by downed trees in the township. A large sign was blown over in Middletown. Other municipalities that reported wind damage included Bensalem, Buckingham, Doylestown, Falls, Ivyland, Lower Southampton, New Hope, Upper Makefield, Warminster and Warrington.
A line of severe thunderstorms knocked down several trees in Newtown and Lower Makefield Townships. A farm in Lower Makefield Township was damaged by the thunderstorm winds. On Yardley-Newtown Road, the severe thunderstorm toppled trees, tore roofs off barns and destroyed outbuildings on one farm. The same severe thunderstorm tore shingles off the roof of a Hampton Inn on Stony Hill Road in Lower Makefield Township.
A severe thunderstorm knocked down several trees and wires across lower Bucks County across Middletown, Langhorne and Lower Southampton Townships. In Lower Southampton Township, one tree crashed through the roof and into the master bedroom of a home. A grandmother pulled her grandson off the bed just as the tree came crashing through. The grandson just suffered a cut on his hand. In Middletown Township, healthy trees were snapped and struck three moving vehicles on Woodburne Road (Pennsylvania State Route 213). No injuries were reported. A skylight and several windows were broken at nearby Oxford Valley Mall. Several roads in the township were closed because of downed trees. Several mature trees were also snapped in Langhorne Township. Penny to nickel size hail also fell from the severe thunderstorm in Middletown and Langhorne. About 12,000 homes and businesses lost power in Bucks County.
