A storm survey team found intermittent tree damage south of the tornado paths, likely associated with strong wind gusts in the rear flank downdraft. Trees were snapped and large tree limbs were broken from just east of the Atoka-Pushmataha County line to near Antlers. A barn was destroyed and a house received minor damage.
Thunderstorms in southeast Oklahoma during the morning hours on the 9th produced hail up to dime-size and damaging winds. A thunderstorm in central Oklahoma produced damaging lightning. Thunderstorm winds downed large tree limbs seven miles northwest of Antlers, uprooted trees four miles north-northeast of Finley. Lightning knocked out the police radio system and the 911 emergency line in Perry.
Thunderstorms in southeast Oklahoma during the early morning hours on the 14th produced strong winds. Strong thunderstorm winds damaged a house 4.5 miles south of Soper, downed power poles near Soper and downed power lines and large tree limbs eight miles east of Antlers.
