This tornado developed in Blaine County and moved into Kingfisher County about a mile and a half south of State Highway 51. Power poles were broken and trees were damaged along the path as it moved east and then northeast to the west of Lacey. One outbuilding received roof damage as the tornado crossed State Highway 51 to the west of Lacey. The tornado dissipated soon after crossing SH-51.
Tornado E2 (Kingfisher County portion). The beginning time of this county segment was incorrectly listed in the original version of May Storm Data. The beginning time should be 1937 CST rather than 1936 CST. Please refer to the original version of May Storm Data for more information about this tornado.
Doppler on Wheels (DOW) data indicate that the tornadic circulation, 9.1 NNW of Calumet in Blaine county, crossed into Kingfisher County 11 miles west of Okarche at 1911 CST. The forward speed slowed as the parent mesocyclone occluded. The tornado then turned west, then south, and finally dissipated at 1915 CST, two miles east of the Blaine/Canadian/Kingfisher county junction. No damage was reported with this portion of the tornado.
