Golf ball to tennis ball sized hail pummeled much of Danbury Township. The hail was accompanied by strong winds which led to considerable damage. All of the Danbury Township Police Department vehicles were damaged too much to be driven. Around six permanent homes and nearly two dozen trailers were damaged by the hail. Most of the damage was to vinyl siding. The hail lasted for several minutes and also damaged many vehicles. A soybean field was heavily damaged by the hail.
