Multiple sources reported multiple trees blown down across the west side of Statesville. A couple of trees fell on homes, including on Wilmington Ave, where a house received significant damage. Another downed tree caused a structure fire. Other trees were down at Buffalo Shoals Rd and Airport Rd. Power lines were also blown down in the Troutman area around the same time.
Emergency manager reported numerous trees blown down, several of which fell on and damaged structures, and boat houses with roofs blown off in the Lake Norman area, including on Tennessee Circle, and as far south as Highway 150. A couple of other trees were blown down on the north side of Mooresville.
NWS storm survey found a downburst damage that began at West Paces Rd at the shoreline of Lake Norman and continued about north-northeast, ending at Goodwin Circle and Highway 150. Roof damage occurred to a number of businesses and homes, while multiple trees were blown down throughout the area.
