Five mile long, one quarter mile wide damage swath from near the highway 601 and 801 intersection to just west of Farmington. The damage path was intermittent, with mainly trees, large limbs, and power lines blown down. A house near the end of the damage path received some minor roof damage.
Multiple trees were blown down along Fairfield Rd to Deadmon Rd and Willboone Rd. Trees were also blown down near the intersection of highway 64 and highway 801. At least one tree fell on a vehicle. A large greenhouse was also heavily damaged in this area.
Numerous trees fell on homes causing extensive damage. A museum in Mocksville sustained damage when winds sucked 3 attic windows and framework out the attic and into the air, eventually landing on the ground. Several trees fell across roads and numerous power outages lasted into the following morning.
