Isolated fast moving severe thunderstorms downed trees and wires in a couple locations in Herkimer County. An isolated severe thunderstorm downed several trees at Twin Ponds Estates in Floyd. One tree fell through the roof of two mobile homes causing heavy damage.
Isolated fast moving severe thunderstorms downed trees and wires in a couple locations in Herkimer County. An isolated severe thunderstorm downed several trees at Twin Ponds Estates in Floyd. One tree fell through the roof of two mobile homes causing heavy damage.
Numerous trees and wires were downed along a path of County Route 29A between Red School Road and Seeley Road near the Town of Stratford. Some of the trees were reported snapped 15 feet above the ground. Trees were all reported down in the same direction, suggesting straight-line wind damage occurred. The damage started in eastern Herkimer County and ended across northwestern Fulton County.
