Heavy rain caused street flooding in Wildwood as well as along U.S. Route 9 from Cape May Court House south to Rio Grande. Event precipitation totals included 1.51 inches at Cape May Court House, 1.37 inches in Wildwood and 1.15 inches in Beach Creek.
In addition to the heavy rain, there was also minor tidal flooding at the time of the morning high tide along the ocean front on the 12th. The morning high tide at the Cape May Ferry Terminal reached 6.94 feet above mean lower low water. Minor tidal flooding starts at 6.7 feet above mean lower low water.||Event precipitation totals included 5.27 inches in West Cape May, 4.89 inches in Wildwood, 4.81 inches in Erma and 4.30 inches in Woodbine.
