This was the first of 2 supercells that tracked across parts of Stanton county this evening causing damage. Thunderstorm winds estimated at over 80 mph downed power lines and destroyed several hog and grain bins south of Stanton.
The second supercell to track across Stanton county this evening also produced thunderstorm winds estimated at around 80 mph. The damage from this storm, a hog barn destroyed and several trees uprooted, was a little farther south than the first storm.
