Two 70 foot tall grain bins blown off and away from their foundations. A 100 foot tall radion tower blown over. Two to three foot diameter trees blown over and snapped off. Power poles snapped off, primarily in the center of town.
Reports of total crop destruction between Bayard and Angora from hail and thunderstorm winds. Also received reports of multiple farm pivots and empty coal rail cars flipped over near Angora. Time estimated based on radar.
Portions of a metal roof were blown off an outbuilding near the intersection of Highway 385 and County Road 105. Metal and wood pieces were thrown approximately one quarter mile to the northeast. Eight to ten inch diameter tree branches were broken along Highway 385 southeast of Bridgeport. Winds were estimated at 50 to 60 mph.
