The emergency manager reported roof damage to many homes in Tilden, and one building suffered extensive damage with bricks from the front of the building blown into the street. Widespread tree damage, with numerous power poles and lines blown down. Power was out across Tilden. Center pivots were also blown down near Tilden.
Thunderstorm wind gusts estimated at over 60 mph uprooted at least one tree in the Clearwater area and also damaged crops and some structures in the area. The winds could have been from the same super cell thunderstorm that produced a tornado west of town. The wind was accompanied by a lot of hail, most of it small but some up to quarter-size.
Law enforcement estimated thunderstorm wind gusts hit 70 mph near Oakdale. The strong winds extended from northwest of Elgin into the Oakdale area and flipped numerous center pivots in Antelope county, with at least 40 to 45 systems destroyed and 12 to 14 grain bins severely damaged as well. Tree damage was also noted in the area.
